With a smoky Parisian background complimenting the humour, French Exit is bizarre and at points utterly surreal (the cat!). But it’s also a message at the same time.
Some will find this film incredibly boring – it’s definitely an acquired taste in humour.
Others will revel in its wit, and emotional wake.
